Boston Red Sox Welcome the NFHS Summer Meeting to Fenway Park

The NFHS held its 105th Summer Meeting earlier this month in Boston and celebrated the opening of the conference with a trip to Fenway Park to watch the Boston Red Sox vs. San Diego Padres.

Taking the place of the annual Welcome Dinner, the NFHS and its member state associations combined to bring more than 1,400 attendees to the game, marking the largest group sale in the team's history.

As part of the night's festivities, NFHS leadership was included in pregame ceremonies on the field. NFHS CEO Dr. Karissa Niehoff, NFHS COO Davis Whitfield and outgoing NFHS Board of Directors President Tom Keating (Iowa) took the field in custom Red Sox jerseys, with Keating delivering a ceremonial first pitch.
