Laura “Lou” Golden joined her husband in becoming a basketball official. She is the first woman to serve the role in Kentucky and second nationally, while the first husband and wife officiating crew. She officiated Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) 13th Region boys basketball in the 1960s. #TitleIXat50
