Let’s celebrate those who make high school sports great!

Let's Announce our Appreciation.
October is National High School Activities Month. Each week this month, we will celebrate the many different groups that make high school activities as special as they are.
We're kicking the month off with National Sportsmanship, Fan Appreciation and Public-Address Announcers Week.
The purpose of this specially dedicated week is to highlight the value of sportsmanship and reinforce the importance of ethical behavior within interscholastic programs.
However, good sportsmanship applies to life off the playing field, too. The fair and generous treatment of others is welcome everywhere. That's why, this week, we also acknowledge the spectators who support our activity programs as well as the dedicated public-address announcers who perform every contest. We encourage you to use this week as a challenge to be a "good sport" in everything you do!
See the list below for ideas on how to take part in this special week.
