The Software Developer will be responsible for the development, enhancement, and support of software applications that improve end-user performance and support internal and external programming.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Software Developer is responsible for the creation, development, enhancement, and support of software applications that improve end-user performance and support internal and external programming. The position will provide concise user interfaces, automation of tasks, and the ability to compile information from databases. The Software Developer will work with small teams of staff, state associations, and professional memberships as necessary to gather requirements, demonstrate applications at milestones for approval, and move applications into the implementation phase. This position is primarily focused on full-stack web development running on IIS and using MS SQL Server databases hosted in AWS and Azure.

ESSENTIAL AND RELATED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Designs and develops software applications for internal and external users.
• Designs and develops databases and data structures, including their tables, relationships, functions, and stored procedures.
• Performs maintenance and updates on custom software applications.
• Supports users on custom applications.
• Takes project requirements and creates development plans.
• Compiles information from databases into reports.
