Ice Hockey Comments on the Rules - 2026-27

Jersey (2-1-2c) — Specific items are allowed to appear on the jersey.

Goalkeeper equipment (3-3-5) — The goalkeeper's catching glove and the blocker are now clearly stated in the rule.

Boarding (7-18-1) — A Minor penalty option is now available for officials.

Faceoff location selection (9-1-12) — State associations may adopt to allow non-offending team to choose faceoff spot after icing and/or penalty infraction.
