Community Service Project
The NFHS and MIAA invite you to donate to the Pine Street Inn – the largest homeless services provider in New England, Providing comprehensive range of services to over 2,000 individuals each day.
Pine Street Inn’s Outreach Team is on the streets of Boston every night making sure each unhoused individual gets essential toiletry items. Contributors should consider one of two ways to donate and help the most vulnerable folks in our city.
1. Bring any of the following items and drop it off at the donation box at the Massachusetts Host Committee Hospitality and Information Desk near the registration area:
• Sunblock (travel-sized)
• Cooling towels
• Rain ponchos
• Travel toiletries: deodorant, tissues, toothbrush and toothpaste
• Socks
• Gatorade electrolyte powder packets
• Bandages/mini first aid kits
• Gum/mints
• Chapstick
• Feminine hygiene products
• Sports bras
• Men’s and women’s underwear
• Soft granola bars/small individual snacks (tuna packets, Spam, jerky)
• Bug/mosquito repellent (travel-sized)
• Small flashlight

Welcome Tailgate and San Diego Padres vs. Boston Red Sox Game
All Summer Meeting attendees receive tickets to the Welcome Tailgate and the San Diego Padres vs. Boston Red Sox game per attendee registration.
The Welcome Tailgate will be hosted at Time Out Market Boston (401 Park Drive) – a 27,000-square-foot innovative eating and drinking destination featuring the city’s top chefs, most-talked-about restaurants and buzziest bars – all together in the heart of The Fenway. Attendees can exchange their registration ticket(s) at Time Out Market for $20 gift card(s) to be used at 15 unique food concepts inside the food hall.
The San Diego Padres vs. Boston Red Sox game tickets have been distributed electronically to the email on file per attendee registration and include a $50 food, beverage, and/or merchandise credit with each ticket that is valid at any concession stand inside the park, as well as the indoor team stores located at Gate B and on Jersey Street.
*Transportation will not be provided to Time Out Market or Fenway Park. Time Out Market and Fenway Park are approximately a 33 minute (1.5 mile) walk and a 23 minute (1 mile) walk, respectively, from the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
Bags, Containers and Coolers
Bags must be single-compartment and no larger than 12"x12"x6". Backpacks, backpack-style purses, duffel bags, and other multi-compartment bags are NOT permitted. Exceptions will be made for diaper bags and bags containing essential medical equipment. To speed up the entry process, the Red Sox will continue to encourage the use of single-compartment clear bags for the 2023 season. Clear bags must also be no larger than 12"x12"x6". Clear backpacks are not allowed. NFHS Summer Meeting Registration Bags have been approved for use by Red Sox officials.
All bags will be subject to search as referenced above. Please pay close attention to the prohibited items list.
Fans who arrive to an entry gate for a game with a non-permitted bag will have the option of storing their bag for a fee with a third-party locker company. This locker truck is located on top of the Lansdowne Garage across from Gate E.
Hard-sided coolers and glass containers are not allowed.
