What do you have in store for your summer workouts? Make sure to take time off and recharge, but there is no doubt that great progress can be made in the off-season as well.
Mike Trout, the American League runner-up for the league's MVP 4 consecutive years, credits his off-season workouts to his yearly success.
Trout keeps his workouts different every day in maintaining his performance level. Have you talked with your coaches on what they want you to do?
A well-planned routine of rest and workouts this summer will determine how much you improve your strength, speed and quickness. There are no shortcuts. Make sure you come back next school year a better conditioned athlete.
