The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association and the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association have each emphasized the importance of creating an emergency action plan and establishing a pre-event EAP meeting prior to each contest. Every middle school conducting interscholastic athletic events and performing arts after school activities should have an EAP in place.
