NFHS Welcomes NDUR for Athletes as Corporate Partner
The NFHS is pleased to announce a new corporate partnership with NDUR for Athletes, an athlete-focused organization providing mental fitness, wellness and readiness resources designed to support student-athletes both on and off the field.
Through the partnership, the NFHS and NDUR for Athletes will work together to increase awareness of resources that help student-athletes build confidence, resilience and connection while navigating the unique pressures associated with participation in high school sports.
“Supporting the overall well-being of student-athletes is an important part of the NFHS mission, and that extends well beyond what happens during competition,” said NFHS Executive Director Davis Whitfield. “Today’s student-athletes face a variety of pressures in athletics, academics and their everyday lives. We are excited to welcome NDUR for Athletes as a corporate partner and to help connect our state associations and schools with resources designed specifically with the student-athlete experience in mind.”
Built by former collegiate and professional athletes, educators and innovators, NDUR for Athletes provides a proactive support system focused on strengthening mental fitness, readiness and resilience. The platform is designed to support not only student-athletes, but also the coaches, administrators, parents and mentors who play important roles in their development.
NDUR provides student-athletes with tools and resources designed to help them build confidence, better understand themselves, manage pressure and stay connected to a supportive community. Its approach combines digital mental-fitness resources, athlete-focused mentorship, community engagement and on-campus programming.
For schools and athletic departments, NDUR is designed to complement existing support systems by providing resources for athletes and the people around them. The organization also offers programming and insights intended to help coaches and administrators strengthen communication, readiness and culture throughout their athletic communities.
"Empowering all student-athletes means supporting everyone around them: the coaches who see them every day, the parents in the stands, the administrators building the culture on-campus," said Andrew Mirken, Chief Strategy and Growth Officer of NDUR for Athletes. "That's the approach NDUR takes, and it's why this partnership with the NFHS makes so much sense. Together we can strengthen not just how young athletes perform, but how they grow."
NDUR currently supports student-athletes at more than 400 high schools and colleges through its athlete-centered approach to mental fitness and well-being.
As an NFHS Corporate Partner, NDUR for Athletes will have opportunities to engage with the NFHS membership through NFHS platforms, events and educational initiatives while sharing resources and information with athletic administrators and other leaders in education-based athletics.
