3-2-3r (NEW) Allows the games committee (or meet management) to decide whether field event athletes must report at the start of the overall event or at the start of their specific flight.

6-2-8 (NEW) In field event throws, safety is paramount in warm-up s and competition. Warm-up attempts by athletes with their back to the sector are dangerous as it destroys the vital sightline needed to verify that the area is clear. This change maintains a clear line of sight to verify that the landing area mis safe and clear before a thrower makes an attempt.

6-2-16b (NEW) This change explicitly bans foreign substances on shoes and in the throwing circle to address their increasing use. Additionally, the section has been reorganized to give coaches and officials clearer, more accessible guidance.

6-8-6 This change ensures that athletes who haven't yet made an attempt can still warm up if the 60-minute mark occurs mid-height. While maintaining the requirement that warm-ups happen during height changes, it gives officials the flexibility to make judgment calls based on the situation.
