Thank you for your help in selecting the 2020-2021 Debate Topic - Criminal Justice Reform

Resolved: The United States federal government should enact substantial criminal justice reform in the United States in one or more of the following: forensic science, policing, sentencing.

 

UPDATE: We have had to make the difficult decision to move the 2020 NFHS Policy Debate Topic Selection Meeting to December 28-29, 2020. Decisions are still pending on the format of the meeting. Stay tuned for more information.

The NFHS usually hosts the annual meeting to determine the debate topic ballot choices in the first weekend in August. This meeting is held in various locations from year to year. The 2020 Topic Selection Meeting is currently on hold as we determine contingency plans due to COVID-19. For more information on the topic selection process, click here.
